Pepper Bean, is a homegrown brand from Bell Pepper which produces homemade food products, completely using organic ingredients, prepared by homemakers from the households of Kayamkulam, a village by the backwaters of Kerala.
The initiative of making a product, enriched with 100% homemade ingredients, prepared using traditional cooking methods of Kerala, was initiated by Sumeesh S, the founder. The idea was to make his mother’s wide assortment of tasty authentic recipes, available to everyone who loves savoring good food.
Sumeesh begins with pickles of Oyster, fished from the backwaters of Kayamkulam, a coast well known for ancient maritime trade. Oysters and fishes, fresh with a mild scent and moist flesh reaches his mother’s kitchen, along with ingredients from his home garden. With of a firm desire to share good food, Pepper Bean is now a homegrown brand, serving a range of wholesome packed foods, including a variety of pickles and homemade snacks. The products include both vegan and non-vegan foods.
The brand now serves consumers in all corners of the country, including the islands of Lakshadweep.
‘Bell Pepper’ is adding more native dishes to its food library day to day with a desire to serve its authentic taste.
